After receiving a mid-air bomb threat, a New York-bound Air India flight returned to Mumbai on Mondaynoitepg, PTI reported citing sources.
It has been reported that the aircraft carrying over 320 people, landed safely in Mumbai and is currently undergoing mandatory checks by the security agencies.

"The aircraft is undergoing mandatory checks by security agencies, and Air India is extending its full cooperation to the authorities," it further added.
In view of the security threat, the flight has been rescheduled to operate at 5 am on March 11. All passengers have been offered hotel accommodation, meals, and other assistance until then, the airline said.
